The silk shell is made from our famous 19 Momme long strand silk with a thread count of 400 for better breathability and heat insulating properties than the cotton shelled pillows. Like the other pillowcases, the silk floss filling is firmly tacked to the edge of the inside of the cotton cover to prevent the floss filling from slipping around inside, so you never have to worry about the floss being displaced inside the cover. A side zipper is set on the side of the pillow for you to inspect the silk floss filling should you have any doubt about our silk’s authenticity.
