Replacement Screw-on Heads for Modular Bamboo Brushes

One of our favorite little ideas: when a brush wears out, you shouldn't have to throw the whole thing away. These screw-on heads let you keep your modular bamboo handle for the long haul and just swap in a fresh head once the bristles soften. Less waste, less money, and the same satisfying scrub.

Each head is made from bamboo and firm plant-fiber bristles, so the whole thing is plastic-free and ready for the compost when its scrubbing days are done. Pick the bristle that fits the job: regular-duty sisal for everyday dishes, or heavy-duty palm for pots, pans, and tougher messes.

How to Use

Twist the worn head off your modular bamboo handle and screw a fresh one on, no tools required. Reach for the regular-duty sisal head for everyday dishes and glassware, and the heavy-duty palm head when you need extra muscle on pots, pans, and baked-on food.

Care & Cleaning

Let the brush dry out between uses rather than leaving it sitting in water. To swap heads easily, make sure the wood threads are dry before you unscrew. Water can make bamboo swell and the threads stick, so if it feels tight, set it in the sun for a few hours and it will loosen right up. Avoid soaking the head or running it through the dishwasher, and give it a quick wipe with diluted vinegar and water to freshen it when needed.

Materials

End-of-Life Disposal

When the bristles soften and it is time for a fresh head, drop the old one in your compost bin or bury it in the garden. The bamboo and plant fibers break down naturally, with nothing left for the landfill.
